First impression last. And what is finished well stays good for years to come.
MODEedge, melamine edgebands are available in rolls of 50 m & 100 m with widths in the range of 15 - 45 mm. Modeedge is available with pre applied hot melt glue for small usage by carpenters, joinery shops and without glue for larger runs at factories. Non-Glued Edge Bands
1. Apply any water based adhesive (PVAC) to the edge of the substrate.
2. Allow for drying till the glue is tacky.
3. Carefully align the MODEedge band with the decor side up on to the glued surface and fix firmly by applying even pressure.
Pre-Glued Edge Bands
1. Unreel the required length of MODEedge band.
2. Fix firmly against the surface required to be covered and apply heat and even pressure, at the spot, attaining a temperature of around 140 - 160 °C.
Special Characteristics
Elasticity, good adhesion, low melt viscosity, good oxidation, good heat-sealing properties and heat resistance.
Pre-Glued MODEedge banding exhibits good wetting, excellent transfer characteristics and high tack with fast setting.
